The client was continuing to expand their footprint in different locations globally, to support instantaneous computation of their advanced trading AI across markets.

The Requirement
The customer required the physical deployment of a new HPC cluster at their site in NJ, USA. This included high-speed networking equipment and advanced servers. The project involved the in-rack installation of devices and patching including implementing advanced cable-management systems.

The Solution
AXAVANT provided workshops prior to deployment to develop physical infrastructure plans including rack layouts and cabling matrixes for optimal speeds. This was completed in AXAVANT’s bespoke infrastructure planner which enables the tabular and visual planning of device placement, port mapping and more.
We deployed experienced Data Centre engineers to site to complete the physical installation and connect & dress of cabling, including advanced cable management to allow for optimal speeds.
The deployment needed to be rapid and efficient to allow for immediate go-live, which meant the project timeline was short. AXAVANTs teams worked to project timelines as-well as installation and cabling standards to ensure the work was completed on-time and maintained compliance.
INSTALL CAPABILITY
AXAVANT provides advanced and end-to-end deployment and installation capability. We commission new environments from the white space, grey space, structured cabling, through to the equipment itself.
The Outcome
AXAVANT’s solution enabled the end customer to complete the go-live of their platform to established timelines. This project was part of a global rollout programme, and our teams ability to facilitate this project established a consistent standard of work for other deployment activities.
